Dr. Amol D. Lokhande is an accomplished academic leader and Principal at Navsahyadri College of Engineering, India, with over 20 years of experience in engineering education and research. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Green Manufacturing, supported by a Master’s in Design Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. His research spans remanufacturing, reverse logistics, sustainable design, CAD/CAM, and simulation techniques using ANSYS. With 24 journal publications, 13 international conference papers, and active guidance to Ph.D. scholars,two awarded, one thesis submitted, he has made significant contributions to sustainable industrial practices. Known for his dynamic teaching and thought leadership, Dr. Lokhande has served as a session chair, journal reviewer, and expert speaker across key domains like robotics, mechatronics, and finite element methods. Previously at Sandip University, he also led institutional development and curriculum innovation. A passionate reader and sports enthusiast, he is widely respected for his mentorship, academic rigor, and leadership in mechanical engineering.
